Umeå Energi pays a visit to Vaasa’s energy companies

Umeå Energi’s board and managment visited Vaasa for two days, September 9-10, 2015.

The group of 20 people spent two intensive days visiting a number of companies:

Vasa Elektriska
There Corporation, an energy management company
Vakiluodon Voimas gasification plant
Muova Design Centre, Wasa Wind Ab’s new 3.6 MW direct-drive wind turbine
Technobothnia training and research centre
Designbyrån Buorre

The Vaasa region’s development company, Vasek and Teknologicentrum Merinova acted as hosts for the visit. The guests were impressed by the knowledge and expertise found in Vaasa.
