The Cleantech Kvarken Cluster gets great attention in Scotland
Cleantech Kvarken, the transnational Finnish-Swedish Cleantech cluster, received a lot of attention at All Energy 2016 in Glasgow 4-5 May 2016. All- Energy is the UK's leading trade fair for renewable energy, with 450 exhibitors and 8250 visitors.
At the All Energy event, we launched the Cleantech Kvarken Project in Great Britain by presenting our Business Catalogue which includes 113 Cleantech companies from the Vaasa, Västerbotten and Örnsköldsvik regions. The clusters initiative was highlighted in a report by the Scottish Herald, one of the largest newspapers in Scotland. The Cleantech Kvarken booth at the All Energy event was very well attended.
Juha-Petteri Lesonen, Sales Manager, Substations, from VEO in Vaasa, participated in the All Energy event and was very positive: “We are very pleased with the All Energy event which gave us a very good overview of Scotland’s renewable energy market. We made many new business contacts and even concrete business opportunities.”
Cleantech Kvarken plans to participate in All Energy in 2017 and aims to attend along with six companies from the region.
The Cleantech Kvarken booth at the All Energy event aroused great interest among companies and organisation that work with renewable energy.
Triinu Varblane, International Business Developer for Merinova and Cleantech Kvarken, presents the Cleantech Companies from Vaasa, Västerbotten and Örnsköldsvik, in the company catalogue with 113 Cleantech companies.
