On the 14th – 15th March the first bioeconomy parliament will be held in Örnsköldsvik. Speakers include Carina Håkansson, President of The Swedish Forest Federation, Göran Persson, Chairman of the European think tank Think Forest, Sven-Erik Bucht, Minister for Rural Affairs, and Anders Wijkman, Chairman of the Environmental Advisory Council.
The bioeconomy parliament is a big step for Sweden in becoming a leading nation in the new bioeconomy. The Swedish bioeconomy is evolving rapidly right now. Therefore, we will gather key people and key decision makers from bioeconomy companies and organizations across the country. The industry faces a number of challenges that need common solutions and with the bioeconomy parliament we want to create a unique platform to take advantage of the potential that exists.
The bioeconomy parliament includes both seminar lectures and panel debates with great interest of participants.
