Smart City - Universitetsstaden puts itself on the map at SEE Hållbarhetsveckan
Universitetsstaden in Umeå will develop into an urban environment with new energy, environmental and IT solutions. During an exhibition at Hållbarhetsveckan, 10 organisers unveiled their plans to build Universitetsstaden. -
Bostaden has installed and opened their first charging points at Ålidhem
In collaboration with Umeå Energi, Bostaden is now opening their first charging points for electric cars in one of their residential areas. Bostaden issued in a press release, that the opening ceremony will take place at the Hållbarhetsmässa at Vinterträdgården. -
Deepened interest in circular economy
Cleantech Kvarken and its sister project Cleaner Growth deepen their interest in circular economy at a lunch event at Hållbarhetsveckan in Umeå. The event “Circular Economy - which local solutions already exist?” Focusses on how profitable business models unite with social and environmental responsibility. Many companies who are involved in the Cleantech Kvarken project will participate in the event which takes place at Sliperiet in Umeå on Thursday the 20th September at 11:15-13:30 and which begins with an introduction to Circular economy.
