In the Nordic pavilion at the Smart City Expo World Congress Barcelona 2017, visitors were attracted to the exhibition stand of North Sweden Cleantech and Cleantech Kvarken. The approximately 20,000 fair visitors received information about the region and companies in northern Sweden and Vaasa.

In cooperation with the Swedish company Tekniska verken i Linköping AB, Uponor Infra Oy has developed an underground passage into which all the infrastructure of a residential area is gathered. Infra Culvert has been patented in the Nordic countries and a patent is pending also elsewhere in Europe. -
Petec Resumes Manufacturing of Ess-Drän
ESS-Drän, the efficient, safe, reliable, self-cleaning and cost effective drainage pipes is now for sale again. It is the company PeTex in Korsholm, Finland, that has resumed the production of it and the team from project Cleantehc Kvarken met them during a project meeting in Vaasa. -
Cleantech Kvarken's new venture with corporate reception has become a success
The new way of working enables the energy and environmental industry companies on both sides of the Gulf of Bothnia to establish new business contacts. Swedish business developers are in Vaasa a couple of days each month to meet companies from the Vaasa region and business developer from Vaasa, visit Örnsköldsvik, Umeå and Skellefteå on the Swedish side.
